Our Science Team

Built by researchers, not marketers

Four scientists spanning sleep science, molecular medicine, naturopathic medicine, and clinical practice. Together, they selected 13 ingredients at clinical doses and designed a system around your body's natural rhythms.

Dr. Greg Potter, PhD

Chief Science Officer

Greg Potter, PhD, MSc

  • PhD Sleep & Metabolism
  • US Navy SEALs
  • London Psychiatry Clinic

Greg leads the development of Coastline's formulation. His PhD from the University of Leeds focused on sleep, circadian rhythms, nutrition, and metabolism. He has worked with the US Naval Special Warfare Command on health and performance optimization, and serves as a health coach at the London Psychiatry Clinic.

As a coach at Loughborough University, he trained a sprinter to four gold medals at the European Championships. His research has been featured by the BBC World Service, The Washington Post, Reuters, and TIME Magazine.

"The 13 ingredients chosen for Coastline are the most scientifically supported, and clinically validated supplements yet to be discovered."

Dr. Jacqueline Jacques, ND

Naturopathic Medicine Advisor

Dr. Jacqueline Jacques, ND

  • Naturopathic Doctor
  • Clinical Practice
  • Formulation Science

Dr. Jacques brings decades of clinical experience in naturopathic medicine to Coastline's formulation process. Her expertise bridges the gap between laboratory research and real-world clinical application, ensuring that every ingredient selection is grounded in both scientific evidence and practical patient outcomes.

"Coastline is what happens when you combine scientific rigor with real-world clinical understanding."

Dr. Nicolas Verhoeven, PhD

Senior Formulation Advisor

Dr. Nicolas Verhoeven, PhD

  • PhD Molecular Medicine
  • Mitochondrial Research
  • 11 Years Literature Analysis

Dr. Verhoeven has spent over a decade analyzing the scientific literature across nutrition science, exercise physiology, and molecular medicine. His doctoral research focused on mitochondrial function, autophagy, and peroxisome biogenesis.

His role at Coastline is to ensure every ingredient is backed by the strongest available evidence and dosed at levels shown to be effective in clinical research. He bridges the gap between complex physiological concepts and practical supplementation.

Dr. Christopher Pollock, MD

Senior Science Advisor

Dr. Christopher Pollock, M.D., M.Sc.

  • Medical Doctor
  • Governor General's Medal
  • UBC Clinical Instructor

Dr. Pollock received the Governor General's Medal for placing first in his graduating class at Mount Allison University. He completed his MSc at the University of Toronto, his MD at the University of Ottawa, and his Ophthalmology Residency and Oculoplastic Surgery fellowship at UBC.

Practicing in Vancouver since 2012, Chris serves as a Clinical Instructor and Course Director at UBC. His focus on chronic disease prevention, health promotion, and longevity science directly informs Coastline's approach to evidence-based supplementation.
